Overview
I am the IT Analyst for Faculty Records in the Office of Faculty Affairs Administration. I support users of the dFac platform, an SAP API which handles faculty appointments, educational records, flexible work arrangements and more. Data elements from dFac flow to other platforms at Duke including Scholars@Duke and departmental websites. I collaborate with department and school level users as well as data consumers across all phases of the faculty data lifecycle to improve systems and processes. Prior to joining the Provost's office in 2020, I worked with the Duke's #1 ranked Physician Assistant program from 2012-2020 providing data curation and analysis where I led the full-scale migration of exam software.
Over a decade ago, I began my career managing both large and small faculty hires both within the Molecular Genetics and Microbiology department here at Duke and in the Psychiatry department at UNC-CH. I have a B.A. from UNC-CH in Linguistics and have studied nine different languages at various points in my life.
