Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Student in Economics, 2018-Present
As a third-year Economics PhD student, I am studying applied microeconomics, including industrial organization and health economics. I am also serving as a teaching assistant for two managerial economics courses at the Fuqua School of Business and as a research assistant for Professor Jimmy Roberts.

In my time at Duke, I have previously served as a teaching assistant for ECON 701 and 704, the core microeconomic theory sequence for first-year Economics PhD students, as well as a teaching assistant for Health Care Markets, an MBA elective at Fuqua.

Prior to coming to Duke, my research focused on economic development in Brazil. I am currently continuing and extending this research. I also did research in philosophy, focusing on political philosophy and applied ethics.

Finally, I currently serve on the Economics Graduate Student Council.
