Selena Lorrey
Student
Immunology PhD Program Entry Year: 2018
Duke Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program
I like to describe my research as neuro-immuno-oncology; I am interested in the interactions between the nervous system and immune system in the context of cancer. Specifically, I study how brain tumors elicit systemic immune derangements and global immunosuppression, and how these immune defects present barriers to immunotherapeutic success.
