Overview
Stephanie is a Clinical Psychology PhD student under the mentorship of Karen Appleyard Carmody and David Goldston. She is interested in child maltreatment and suicidality, particularly among military-connected children. Before coming to Duke, Stephanie graduated from Tulane University (M.Arch in Architecture), served in the Army as a field artillery officer, and worked as a research fellow at both University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Stephanie is a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellow.
