Tammi Kay “TK” George teaches Product Management in High Tech Companies for the Masters in Engineering Management Program (MEMP). George joined the MEMP faculty in 2014.

She established Georgie Girl Consulting and Design in 2016 to offer technology product marketing consulting and compelling tech storytelling for enterprises, higher education and non-profits.

George has over 18 years experience in product marketing and management for SAS, the world’s largest privately held software company. She researched, recommended and executed competitive innovation strategies for the SAS R&D executive team. Responsible for industry solution and competitive analysis for the head of R&D, George also interacted with analysts, partners and other high tech market influencers to communicate R&D direction.

George identified and championed customer experience improvements between SAS customers and R&D with an eye to improving division processes and culture of quality. She also managed the R&D communications team responsible for all digital communication, events and support of the SAS User Group annual event, SAS Global Forum.

Prior to joining R&D, George honed her product marketing and management experience with every aspect of the product lifecycle through leadership in marketing of Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions as well as leading a focus on the SAS Customer Experience. She held positions in Global Product Marketing and Field Marketing where she developed award-winning programs for emerging products. Responsible for establishing SAS’ leadership position in analyst vendor evaluations, interacting with media and competitors, George is an accomplished facilitator, speaker and graphic recorder.
