Yunran Chen

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Statistics in Renmin University of China. And I joined in M.S. in Statistical Science program to bridge to Ph.D. studies. Bayesian analysis and network are my current interets. And I want to explore more in Duke. My goal is to serve as a bridge to connect various disciplines through developing methods and models tailored to the current data recording methods, and spread the concepts of statistics to the general public. In daily life, what I bring to others is the attitude to embrace diversity, just as statistics advocates. “I prefer keeping in mind even the possibility that existence has its own reason for being.”
