Overview
I am a postdoctoral associate working in the Heitman lab as part of the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology of the School of Medicine. I graduated as a Ph. D. in Botany and Plant Pathology from Purdue University. I am interested in uncovering molecular mechanisms underlie all kinds of interesting phenomenon. I am currently involved in studies exploring titan cell that produced by Cryptococcus as well as the uniparental mitochondrial inheritance in Cryptococcus.
