Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists deliver services to address hearing loss, enhancement of communication, and swallowing, but the demographic profile of providers is not reflective of our culturally and linguistically diverse clinical caseloads. This chapter will outline reasons for this limited diversity, how a diverse workforce benefits patients, trends in personnel diversification, and efforts to diversify the workforce at both preprofessional and professional levels.
