Beyond firsts, faith, family, and fidelity: living inside intergenerational feminist engagement

In this introduction, we discuss feminist theory's difficult relationship with its own history and legacies. In particular, we discuss the field's (and our own) attachments to generational metaphors and chronologies. We acknowledge the lure and limitations of such thinking, and outline routes forward that think across, between, and beyond the generational to tell different stories of feminist theory.
