In this paper, a generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) is derived for the adaptive detection of a point target in the presence of waveform-dependent clutter in colocated MIMO radar systems. The clutter is modeled as the response of a channel matrix, following an approach commonly adopted in communication systems. The derivation utilizes available training and test data vectors and assumes that the data follow a complex multivariate elliptical (CMES) distribution. The clutter channel matrix and the covariance matrix of the waveform-independent noise (WICN) are treated as unknown parameters. Analytical expressions for the statistical performance of the proposed GLRT are derived, demonstrating that it possesses a constant false alarm rate (CFAR) property.
