Beyond the necessity of wastewater treatment for public health, communities are exploring alternatives to conventional water and wastewater systems, such as water reuse. Stakeholder and community communication and engagement are critical to the success of planning and implementing water reuse projects. This chapter outlines various communication activities aimed at informing the public about water reuse, addressing current challenges, and exploring future opportunities.
