Into this paper are presented the experimental research regarding the obtaining the building materials with big quantity of fly ash from Timisoara Power Plant, Romania. There are used classical binders (lime and cement) to activate the components of fly ash. There are used the additives (superplasticiser) with goal to obtain high compression strength. There are obtained building materials with compression strength between 10-20 N/mm2. The new materials with fly ash are physical and mechanical characteristics like building materials for structural masonry (for stores).
