Research Interests
My research has evolved from solid state physics with a focus on superconductivity at U Penn, and molecular genetics with a focus on protein synthesis at the Max Planck Institute for Experimental Medicine, to basic and clinical immunology and pathology with a focus on transplantation and cancer at Duke and Johns Hopkins, to health systems science with a focus on the impact of organizational leadership, structure, and culture at Ohio State and Emory.
