Allison's interests include hermeneutics, decoloniality, and the role of biblical texts and biblical scholarship in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Palestine and Israel. She earned her M.Div. from Duke Divinity School and her B.A. in English Language and Literature, with a concentration in Modernist Literature and a minor in Jewish Studies, from the University of Pennsylvania.
