Overview
Andrew is interested in the first theological and literary engagements between Catholics and Marxists in Western Europe. His research focuses on critical transformations in the Western European Christian imagination following encounter with (and participation in) totalitarian regimes from the late nineteenth to early twentieth centuries. Broader interests include 20th century philosophical theology, theological anthropology, and political-theological debates over warfare and national identity.
