Overview


Makenna is a first generation student in Duke's Master of Statistical Science program. She earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and statistics from Utah State University. With an interest in data driven legislation, Makenna contributed to Utah State's 2024 and 2025 Reports to the Governor and Legislature on Utah's Land, Water, and Air and completed a legislative internship with the U.S. House of Representatives in 2024.
