Overview
Mathilde's research focuses on modernist fantasies of connection and ecclesiastical grammars of transcendence. She is broadly interested in spatiotemporality, eschatology, and the metaphysics of reading. She holds a master's in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University and a bachelor's in English from Barnard College.
