Overview


Aaron is a fourth year Neurobiology PhD candidate. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Biochemistry. After joining the lab of Dr. Anne West in 2021, he has investigated activity-dependent gene expression in the nucleus accumbens in response to cocaine. Specifically, he is interested in how the activity-regulated gene Arc affects synaptic plasticity in mice following cocaine administration. Following graduation, Aaron plans …
