Overview
Aditya is a third year Public Policy PhD student at Duke University, concentrating in Political Science. His research primarily explores the intersections of bureaucratic behavior, informal norms, and state capacity. Before the PhD, he worked in India first as a development practitioner and then as a public policy researcher. In these roles, he worked with state governments on programs of performance improvement and sectoral reform, supported civil society networks on policy engagement, and studied administrative reforms and bureaucratic norms. Aditya holds an integrated M.A. in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
