Overview
Dr. Solomon is an Assistant Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Duke University Medical Center. He graduated with distinction from The University of Virginia in 2011 and went on to serve as a corps member of Teach For America in Miami, FL. He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine, earning early induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and receiving the Edward B. Bunn, SJ Award for outstanding academic performance and superior demonstration of the art of medicine by a graduating student. He then completed the Halsted general surgery internship at Johns Hopkins and was named the outstanding surgical intern. Dr. Solomon the completed and served as the Chief Resident for the integrated Vascular and Interventional Radiology residency at Johns Hopkins. He specializes in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures with a focus on interventional oncology, men’s and women’s health, musculoskeletal interventions, venous disease, portal interventions, and pain management. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific texts and presented my work at national and international conferences. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, and spending time with my family.
