Overview
Andrea Marritt-Pabalate, Ph.D. joined the Duke community in 2019 and is currently the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education for Trinity College. She also served as an Academic Dean and worked closely with the Health Professions Advising Office, directing the Cardea Fellows program and developing MCAT preparation opportunities for students. Before coming to Duke University, Andrea was an associate professor of biology and started a pre-health post-baccalaureate program at Meredith College. She attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate career and received a BS in Biochemistry. Andrea continued her education in Washington, DC at Georgetown University, conducting research focused on the nicotinic receptor as she earned her Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology.
