I was awarded a competitive fellowship to design and instruct my own undergraduate course in the Music department. My course, The Musical World of Disney, analyzes the role of music in the Disney media empire. Using an interdisciplinary approach informed by musicology, film studies, and media studies, the course looks at the multivalent presence of Disney music in American culture.
