Overview


Anna Hong Bordelon, MD, is a fellowship trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract, corneal disorders including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus, refractive surgery and external eye diseases such as dry eyes and allergic eye disease.

She performs the latest surgical techniques including DSEK for corneal transplantation and cataract surgery using astigmatism and presbyopia correcting intraocu­lar lens implants. She was awarded the Duke Dastgheib Eye Surgery Award in recognition for outstanding surgi­cal skills. In addition to her commitment to excellent patient care, she has several published articles in oph­thalmic journals and is involved in research to improve ocular health.

Dr. Bordelon is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the American Academy of Ophthal­mology.
