Editorial Activities
Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism (SSIEM)
, Europe
I am an active member of the editorial board of JIMD/JMDR. JIMD is the official journal of the Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism. It publishes results of original research and new or important observations pertaining to inherited metabolic diseases in humans and higher animals. It also publishes reviews of important new developments, and controversial issues in the metabolic field.
Continuous Medical Education - Clinical maintenance of certification (MOC) · December 2015
Professional Development
American board of Medical Genetics and Genomics
The MOC program requires diplomates to engage in professional activities on a more frequent basis. Specifically, activities are performed continuously within three-year cycles. To remain certified, diplomates must complete within each cycle various set activities and submit documentation to the ABMGG as proof of their continuous participation.
