Chainey A. Boroski is a rising 3rd year Environment PhD student under the advisement of Drs. Ram Oren, JC Domec, and Gabriel Katul. She is currently engaged in ecophysiology research in the Duke Forest, with the purpose of informing sustainable forest management through a long-term comparative study of plant hydraulics in local pines. Post-PhD, she plans to pursue a career as a university educator and researcher, with a personal focus on beyond-academia outreach through the writing of accessible scientific literature.
