Overview

My academic and professional interests center on caring for older adults and their loved ones. I completed my MD and MPH at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I began to realize my passion for geriatrics. This interest grew during my Internal Medicine Residency at Duke University where I completed a dedicated R38 research year focused on geriatrics primary care clinics. During my Geriatrics Fellowship at Duke, I have continued to focus on researching the best models of care to support aging adults - with a particular focus on those living with dementia.
