Overview

I went into medicine with a desire to care for people throughout their lifetime. Obstetrics and gynecology enables me to do that and so much more. Getting to know my patients is a priority to me. My clinical interests include general obstetrics, gynecologic surgery with a focus on minimally invasive techniques, benign gynecologic disorders, family planning, LGBTQ+ health, and contraception. Some of my other interests include education and advocacy. I enjoy being involved with an academic medical center because it allows me to stay up to date on current medical knowledge and practice. I have been to numerous local, state, and national conferences advocating for health care. As an open member of the LGTBQ+ community, I strive to provide the most inclusive care possible for all persons seeking care with me. I am originally from Louisiana and moved to North Carolina for residency in 2013.
