Overview

I graduated from Michigan State University with a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. My research focused on understanding how membrane vesicles derived from the fetal and neonatal pathogen Group B Streptococcus impact infection. In the Coyne lab my work focuses on understanding how gestational tissues respond to congenital pathogens such as Listeria monocytogenes and Toxoplasma gondii.
