Overview


Dr. Busuioc is an optometrist that specializes in ocular surface disease management and treatment, such as severe dry eye, keratoconus, and other complex ocular surface diseases such as ocular Graft versus Host Disease, Sjogren’s Syndrome and Steven Johnson Syndrome.  She prescribes and fits specialty contact lenses such as scleral lenses and PROSE device (Prosthetic Replacement of the Ocular Surface Ecosystem), a custom medical treatment that replaces or supports damaged ocular functions by improving vision, reducing pain and light sensitivity.   Dr. Busuioc focuses on every patient as she would a friend or family member and enjoys the satisfaction that comes from helping patients, restoring their visions and witnessing their regained sense of hope in life.
