Daniel Orr

Daniel Orr started his PhD in the fall of 2022. His research questions focus on Roman political thought, Latin literature, and the reception of antiquity in the early modern period. He also enjoys the occasional article on archaic Greece and highly recommends reading the app crit.
Before coming to Duke, Daniel received an MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago and a BA in Classical Languages from the University of Texas at Austin. He grew up in Texas.
