Research Interests
Dannie Brice is a PhD Candidate in history with research interests in coffee, empire, and knowledge infrastructures in the eighteenth and early nineteenth-century transatlantic worlds.
Her work has received generous support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the American Philosophical Society, the American Historical Association, the American Trust for the British Library, the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan, the Huntington Library, the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University, the Omhohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture, the Brandeis Anthropology department, and the Duke Endowment for Interdisciplinary Studies, among others.
