Betsi Dessauer is a researcher, writer, brainstormer, problem-solver, and artist, as well as a yoga and mindfulness instructor. Prior to joining Duke, she worked at C.A.R.E., the United Nations University's futurist Millennium Project, and the Benton Foundation doing research, writing, communications, program management, and development. Within Duke, she was the Assistant Director for Corporate and Foundation Relations at Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering before shifting to her work with the Duke Council on Race and Ethnicity.
