Research Interests

Climate Change and Health
I am interested in exploring how climate change is impacting health. I am particularly interested in how marginalized communities are being included or excluded from this discussion.

Heat Impact on Farmworker Health
I am currently exploring the impact of extreme heat in the farmworker population in North Carolina. I am interested in further exploring the impact of heat in farmworkers around the world with a special interest in Latin America.

Latine Data Disaggregation
In order to improve health outcomes in the Latine community it is important to accurately measure Latines. I am passionate about learning and developing tools for better data disaggregation in the Latine community as well as increasing Latine representation in all levels of research.
