Teaching Activities
The Foundations of Learning in Interprofessional Practice (FLIP) curriculum consists of a pair of half-day workshops focused on teaching the Interprofessional Education Collaborative’s (IPEC) Core Competencies. Over 500 students from accelerated bachelor’s in nursing, doctor of physical therapy, medical doctor, occupational therapy doctorate, and physician assistants’ programs participated in interprofessional teams of 5-6 members each. The workshops were developed and led by the university’s Interprofessional Education and Care Center with additional facilitation by interprofessional clinician-educators from academic and clinical programs.
