Fatima Alqabandi is a PhD student in Sociology. She specializes in computational social science and simulation modeling. She is part of the Polarization Lab and the Duke Network Analysis Center, where she explores topics such as social contagion, diffusion, and radicalization. Along with two others, she has also co-founded the Computational Social Science group. She hopes to continue to integrate computational methods and machine learning into social scientific research.
