Research Interests
I am interested in how Structural Inequalities produce identity derived differential exposure to extreme heat, its impacts, and responsive adaptations to mitigate, resist or eliminate it. My research agenda proposes to address the fundamental causal structural contributors that produce existing socio-economic inequalities and how these processes contribute to more vulnerable positioning among socially minoritized populations that increases risks for environmental hazards due to climate change.
