Germain Choffart

Germain Choffart’s current research interests focus on second-language acquisition, the pedagogical applications of technology, and the use of theatre, improvisation and the study of films in the teaching of a foreign language. He received a Master's Degree in French Literature from the University of Kentucky with an emphasis on 19th and 20th century works and completed his Licence (B.A.) at the Université de Metz, France, where he specialized in American & British history, American & British literature, English grammar and linguistics. Professional duties include: coordinator of French 101, Cultural Advisor, co-Director of the Duke-in-Aix study abroad program. He is also an actor performing with professional theatre and film companies in the Raleigh/Durham area.
