Leadership & Clinical Positions at Duke
Dr. Greenblatt focuses his professional efforts in 3 domains. First, he provides care to a busy general internal medicine panel utilizing an approach that is both patient-centered and evidence-based. Second, he is an active educator routinely providing clinical teaching to students and residents. He also occasionally provides faculty development in teaching, opioid safety, and opioid use disorder treatment for clinicians across many professions. Third, he has a community focus. He serves as a Medical Director for Duke's Population Health Management Office which provides practice support, care management, and population management. Here his focus is with Medicaid beneficiaries as well as individuals in other plans who have high complexity medical conditions. He also serves on the North Carolina Medicaid Physician Advisory Group, as Chair of the Medicaid Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and on a number of other statewide Medicaid committees.
