Overview
He works in contemporary peninsular Spanish and Greek literature and film, exploring the transition of both countries from the twentieth to the twenty-first century through the prisms of immigration, cultural diversity and the 2008 economic crisis. His broader scholarly and teaching interests include theories of nationalism, national and transnational cinemas, as well as migration studies.
