The focus of my work is Post Acute Care and Long Term Care issues. I have been involved in evaluating appropriate medication use. I have participated in a project assessing nursing home residents preferences for cultural change and a project evaluating the impact of diapers and sheets on the development of pressure ulcers in a long term care facility.
Currently we are analyzing the effectiveness of a VA program that provides consultations for caregivers of people with dementia in their home. We are looking at the costs of our program in the VA and outcomes generated by the program
