He was Manager, Academic Research directing research activities at major medical centers in the eastern US. After his retirement, he joined the Faculty of the Graduate Program in Medical Physics where he informally mentors students. Dr. Colsher’s expertise includes CT and PET imaging. Previous research activities included the development of calibration and correction methods, 2D and 3D image reconstruction algorithms, system simulation, and performance evaluation.
