Overview


I am an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist, and clinical researcher, here at Duke. My research studies outcomes and interventions in patients with Advanced Heart Failure and with heart transplants. Previously, I completed Internal Medicine Residency, and Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure clinical fellowships here at Duke. I was also an NIH T-32 grant funded Research Fellow at the DCRI. Previously, I completed medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and was a research fellow in the NIH Medical Research Scholar's program, where I spent 1 year at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) performing clinical and translational cardiovascular research.
