Overview
I am a Ph.D. candidate specializing in political theory. I earned my B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, where I studied political science and philosophy. My dissertation develops a political theory of the rights of nature by addressing a set of core normative and conceptual puzzles. Some of these puzzles include the normative value of rights of nature, the problem of guardianship, the relationship between the rights of humans and the rights of nature, and the question of why we ought to care for the natural world.
