Improving Glaucoma Medication Adherence · March 2017 - March 2021 Co-Investigator · VA HSR&D This study will examine a multifaceted intervention that includes glaucoma education, personalized suggestions to address barriers to adherence, aids for drop administration when needed, involvement of companions, and a novel drop reminder system that alerts Veterans to missed doses (PI: Kelly Muir).
Enhancing graduate medical education using the electronic medical record · 2014 - 2016 Co-Primary Investigator · Duke GME Innovations Grant This project included a national survey of medical educators to better understand the role of the electronic medical record in medical education, and how it could be used to enhance teaching of residents and fellows.
