Overview


Kevin Gurysh, MD is an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and Faculty in Emergency Ultrasound in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Gurysh is a North Carolina native and earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Duke University where he developed a passion for academic emergency medicine. He completed a year of fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Duke University, and subsequently joined the faculty. Dr. Gurysh currently serves as course director for the Emergency Ultrasound residency rotation. He has special interest in residency education, ultrasound guided pain management and resuscitative ultrasound. Dr. Gurysh was nominated by peers as 2018 Faculty Clinician of the Year.
