Teaching Activities


Initiated and taught the pilot Duke Immerse Program with William Chafe, Racial Justice in the Twentieth Century.  This program consisted of four courses on the anti-apartheid struggles and Civil Rights Movement, required significant research, and included a mid-semester study in South Africa. Taught in Spring semesters, Jan. 2012-May 2015.
