Research Interests

My research focuses on the evolution of animal behavior with an emphasis on primate social behavior and ecology. I currently study the lemurs housed at the Duke Lemur Center but also have worked with marmosets in Brazil.  Specific topics of research include behavioral thermoregulation, three-dimensional use of space in arboreal primates and the impact of aging on behavior.
