Lucas Serdar
Postdoctoral Scholar
Current Research Interests
I am interested in all aspects of RNA biology. During my Ph.D. work, I studied the molecular mechanisms underlying the nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD) pathway in budding yeast. My research in the Silver lab maintains a focus on post-transcriptional gene regulation, and centers on understanding the regulation of mRNA localization and localized translation in radial glial cells.
