Luke Vrotsos
Student
I am a first-year PhD student in Statistical Science at Duke. While I am not sure exactly where I will be focusing for research, I am interested in causal inference and applications to the social sciences.
Prior to coming to Duke, I grew up in Natick, Massachusetts, then earned my BA in applied mathematics from Harvard. I wrote my senior thesis using regression discontinuity design to assess the effectiveness of COVID-19 restrictions in Spain.
Outside of statistics, I am interested in philosophy, history, and French.
