Research Interests

I did my undergraduate work in biochemistry at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Then I moved to Seattle where I completed my graduate studies in the lab of Kevin Hybiske at the University of Washington. My dissertation was on host proteins involved in Chlamydia trachomatis infection. I am interested in host responses to intracellular bacteria.
